Baked a cake

Hohoho if you're not familiar with me, Angie is my first niece. She is my big brother's eldest child.

9 days ago, she turned 5.

Baked a cake for her~! My mum & sister thinks I've put too much sodium bicarbonate (self-raising powder) and that they can smell it in the cake but I smell nothing~! Huhuhu maybe my sense of smell is rotting.

Here she is helping me making the fondant.

Got tired and took an unexpected nap like this. She was really sleeping, I thought she was bluffing but bluff she didn't~!

The product~! Hohoho it looks messy. I feel sorry for Angie because she had to endure this creation as her birthday cake.

But she said she liked it very much~! : D ...and no, we're not Chinese haha Angie picked that red cheongsam herself.

I absolutely salute parents~! Taking care of kids are not easy. Or perhaps I'm just not gifted in that area. I am always a bit kind to them, giving them what they want and let them have their way huhuhu that's one way to let your head get stomped by their little feet XD

Anyway, it's Christmas Eve~! Merry Christmas to everyone and don't forget to leave the cookies and milk beside your Christmas tree~! HO HO HO

On the eve of Cory's birthday, Epa, Ninang and Fun2 surprised us with cakes from Secret Recipe~! Wuauuuuu... When Epa walked in with the cakes in her hands I was so surprised I actually thought it was supposed to be for Dudu (Let me explain; July 1st is Dudu's birthday and July 2nd is Cory's) so I sang along hahaha didn't know it was for the three of us hohoho

Anyway, dream came true cake~!

Confessions of a birthday girl

23 years~! Ever year I never fail to say this, "I'm ooooooooooold~!!!!!" Hoho I can be somewhat a pessimist. Like earlier when I woke up I was thinking, "Another 7 years and I'm gonna be....gulp.....30."

Gah, 7 years is a long time right? Right? RIGHT?! Okay, stop freaking out.

Yesterday, I went shopping with my mum. I've been eyeing this thing for a long time now. Always passing by and looking at it. Yesterday I finally took a proper look, tried it on and bought it~!

I dunno what was I doing. Somekind of gunmen salute? Hoho can't really see the new item recently added to my gracefully limited closet.

What's with that face? hahaha This wasn't the one I originally wanted but I was completely caught in love with the colours huhuhu

And I bought a pair of new shoes since my kuliah shoe has finally taken the toll of the countless stairs in my college (institute, whatever). BATA sale~! My shoe was down 30%. I'm officially penniless~! T.T

Later that day, my eldest brother took us out for dinner at a seafood place. It kinda became a tradition with him to take me out to dinner for my birthday. Last year was yummy~! It's sort of a celebration for his wedding anniversary and my birthday. Yup, he got married on my birthday~!

Butter prawn~! I loooooove this dish. Never went to a seafood restaurant without ordering this baby!

Curry crab. Didn't think it was going to be a dry curry. Hoho Haven't been eating crab for so long~! <3 But eating this messes up your fingers. I think my fingers was the dirtiest that night. Yum yum~!

There was another dish, Nyonya style fish (I think, I'm so bad with recipe names) and I liked it very much too~! Moi mummy enjoying the food.

Pandan pudding. I thought the presentation could've been better. So plain. This time I agree with my sister, it was bland. Not too much to taste. I finished mine anyway hohoho

No problem for her though~! Angie loves the pudding~!

It was a great night just catching up with family. Haven't seen most of them for the past month. Looking forward to next year's dinner~! Hohoho thank you big bro~!

Since I was young, birthdays was always celebrated. No matter big or small, a cake was always there. I am thankful to my family for always celebrating my birthday and make me feel good throughout my life.

Tra la la la not doing anything special today (although I half sweared I'd do something today hoho). I was thinking of catching a movie today.

You see, I've been a member of GSC for a long time now (5years~!) and I never used the priviledges. One of them is you can watch a movie free of charge on your birthday month. In today's world, nothing is free, there's gotta be a catch. There's always a catch.

I didn't go because... well, the free movies doesn't excite me. The catch is that not every movie is free. You can only watch those with an asterisk.

Andartu? Naa.... Bounty Hunter? Bad reviews from my friends plus, my brother have this movie, I'll watch it later.

Once A Gangster? I could go watch this but... I don't have that jolt of wonderment to watch. (Actually I woke up late and can't make it to the 1150 show haha and I don't wanna go out alone too late.) 

 

Shrek3? Already watched it in 3D hohoho

The free ticket lasts for a month so, maybe I'll wait a while longer la. Maybe later this month I'll be motivated to go.

Talking about 3D, thanks to Epa's effort, 11 friends went and watched Shrek together. It was such a happy time!

Since every picture with me in it is not clear haha I'm using Aimi and Linda~!

So now I'm just watching the television. Hoho

On another note, congratulations to Francesca Schiavone for winning the women's single in Roland Garros~!

The Italian's speech was so cute~! "I'm sorry, I did not prepare nothing because if I prepare something for the future, it will not happen."

Great game~! Tomorrow is the men's finals between my favorite player, Rafael Nadal and Robin Soderling who last year beat Rafa on the same court. Good luck Nadal~!

My sister's car key! haiya... actually it was me who dropped it. I dunno why it slipped through my fingers. grrr... seriously, I have butterfingers~!!!

This happenned in Servay Putatan. I panicked like hell at the parking lot huhu must've looked like nenek tua yang panic. About 5 minutes after, some workers decided to help us...



And he dipped his hands into that ditch, into that dirrrrty water with what looked like products from your ass swimming, floating in there. yukkk~!!! It was super smelly ooo~! Anyway, he found the carkey and went to wash it before giving it to us. I tipped him rm10 for his trouble and smelly hand hohoho

Would you helped me, if you were there??? Thanks to that young man!

By the way, did you know that a light will go off if your car key fell into water? So happens to a Kenari's alarm switch. A red light will go off. Thanks to whoever invented the alarm switch with the red emergency light, the carkeys was easily found!

The room was huge~! there were about 60(I think!) roundtables. Ours was quite a distance from the stage though. But it was close to the door so we can go to the loo easily.

These people went shopping 2 weeks prior from the wedding reception. fyi, 1 of my aunts went to segama as early as 9am just so she can get a parking spot! I hate going to segama... soo hard to get a parking spot ooo... Maybe its time for KK to have LRT, monorails?

Marsha was invited to entertain the guests... my, my, she's so thin~!

I'm 22~!

Happy birthday to me~! To be honest, I hate leaving the realm of 21 hohoho being 22 seems old! On the eve of my birthday, my oldest brother belanja-ed us (my siblings. parents balik kg huhu). We went to a seafood restaurant just behind GSC KK. yeah, the one with the stage. But last night, no shows were shown, much to my wonder.

Ffirst, we had this very sedap sedap sedap sedap yummilicious soup. I think it has egg, crab meat and corn in this soup.

Crab!!! I luv crabs~! this was sooo yummy~! maybe I thought it was yummy because I haven't eaten any crabs for so long... huhu

On my birthday, I decided to do something I dislike --- sort of to embrace the stuff I don't like for no reason hohoho

The first thing I did was going for a jog. hehehe for the people who knows me, I hate running. like, HATE~!!!!!

Went to Taman Rimba to jog. Not many people was there --- probably because it was 9 am~! hahaha I woke up late, cut me some slack would'cha!

 I jogged for a while and stopped at one of the many workout stations here. This station here is for situps and... ermm i dunno what i was doing teehee... :3

When I was driving home, I noticed these beautiful trees... don't they look like sakura??? what a pleasant sight (on my birthday too!)

In the afternoon, I went to Centre Point to eat some Japanese food. Inspired by the above picture la... I had udon noodle and tempura huhu yum yum

After that, I rested at home and an hour later, went shopping with my mom. I got this very bright pink dress for my cousin's wedding next week hohoho will definitely post pictures of it!

This is my favourite dish~! chicken curry~!!! I think the reason I love curry so much is because my mom cooks this often when we were young.
