In a nutshell : )

30.04.2010 marks the end of practicum number 3 for me huhuhu

It really was a rollercoaster ride. Some ups and downs with the occasional loops. The ups being my observations finished rather quickly, school food was inexpensive and yummy (minus the oil-infested nasi goreng) and the teachers in the school were very nice.

Roti telur, bandung cincau, cendol. Guess which drink is mine? Muahaha of course the pink one~! XD

My other fav. drink here, kitchai ping~!

The downs were my students... haish. Very noisy and wouldn't hand in their works. One very down the hill moment was when a certain lecturer hurt my feelings. Not going to bother telling it here lah. : (

My Mathematics class. This was on Saturday, only a handful of pupils came. Another down --- two Saturday classes for me this practical.

Playing the 'Maths Race' game in class. This class makes me want to be observed everyday because when it comes to me being observed, they suddenly transform into angels (in disguise of course!). I'm always thankful that they behave really good during observations.  

Jarod and Abba. The quiet one and the one who is always late. My class usully is the first class in the morning and Abba would always come late, dragging his tired-equipped school bag, as if he just came back from a flight from London.

So, anyway, my students were very nakal right? Last Friday we decided to have a little party, sort of like a farewell party.

The guys trying to pop the 'champagne' hohoho They even put some mentos in.

I was quite overwhelmed because I wasn't expecting it to be quite sad. But yeah, the boys and girls shed some tears, gave me presents eventhough I specifically told them not to give me anything. Some gave letters too.

I'm teaching them how to camwhore.

One letter says , 'Terima kasih cikgu kerana mengajar kami dengan lemah lembut.' Hahaha if ever I was gentle. I think everytime I go to class, I was always nagging and shouting at them. Oh yeah, one thing I've learnt this practical was that my voice is not so loud afterall. With two lecturers telling me that, it ought to be true.

This is a gift from Osman and yes, it is a Ferrero Rocher~! Among others, I received cute teddy bear keychains, a tutu wearing mushroom keychain, pens, biscuits, a pretty notebook, etc.

In the end, the class followed me until I reach the Staff Room. huhuhu very touching~!

During my practical, Dudu, Fun2 and I went to the beach, we were caught in a traffic jam and decided to unwind at the beach huhuhu

Makan time in Year4~! This is my English class.

Arrynchia, Kevenia, Adam and Willsie. I sweae, Arrynchia looks like this in every picture. Wahahaha She's actually a very quiet girl in class.

My English class is pretty okay. At first, they wouldn't keep still and listen to my instructions. But overtime, they learnt to listen.

We can't see it but we're standing infront of the table the four of us shared. The teachers prepared a feast for us, which was really super nice of them. We received gifts from the teachers too~!

One thing that I'm thankful for is this magnetic nametag. No more holes on my clothes~! This thing is expensive for a nametag (RM15-RM18) but its worth every cent. It's easy and clean. It's really easy to put them on hohoho but there's always a possibility that this is going to happen...

She was being observed that day too~!!! Wahahahahaha I was so close to not telling her that her nametag is upside down but... decided against it. Kesian ba odia kena observe lagi tu... : )

 This is what our table in school looks like huhu... Cramped with four laptop. The thing is, when somebody comes in the staff room, they'll straighforwardly see what I'm doing on the laptop. Huhuhu very hard to FB or play comp games. I was playing 'Plants & Zombies' the other day and Madam Clara was there behind me. Adede...

Gah broad bands~! Sometimes I'd go nuts without 'em hohoho boring bah di bilik guru... Oh the other day I found blings in Lowe's, Karamunsing. Very cheap at that too! RM1.90 for the small ones. And guess what, I blinged my broadband~!!! Hohohoho

 My laptop has suffered a lot under my reign... just look at those scratches~! Poor lappy... And so, I decided to cover it up in an attempt to make it prettier hohoho

Seems forever since I updated. Busy konon hahahaha

If you think I will post my pimple-infested face, I wont~! Instead, I will give you a pic of my nails~! WTH? haha

I just realized that I love nail arts~!!! <3 <3 <3 This is my first experiment with nail stickers huhuhu

Can you believe that the stickers actually stuck to my nails for a week? Very nice... : ) 

... and it costs only RM1.50~! I still have lots of leftovers too.

Last last Friday, my girlfriends and I went karaoke-ing huhuhu and had a blast~! We were singing songs that we love, hard songs to sing (Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, etc) and songs that was so unfamiliar to us. Cory was singing 'Cotton Fields' and rocked the room!

I <3 singing~! Ohohohoho I remember when I was young, whenever our family went balik kampung, I will be singing all the way (2hours drive) from Tuaran to Kuala Penyu. Huuuuuu what a torture it must've been for the driver~! hehehe

I haven't been washing my car for what... 2 months~! It's been raining bah... Lazy me will make up this excuse, 'It'll get dirty again after the rain!' ngehehehe

This was in January when I last washed my car (myself) hehehe

It was so dirty, a student of mine can actually write her name accross the window.

 Now, my car is back to its dirty state, anybody wants to wash her for me?

Bergaduh tepi jalan (somehow it sounds better than roadside fight huhu)

Last night was another hell. My proposal needed more ajinomoto, salt, pepper and whatnot. Repairing my proposal demands hardwork [and I'm not a hardworker~!!! : ( ] So, I guess my bed would have to wait. Anyway, I was hammering my head in hopes that it would trigger some fantastic, marvelous, incredible idea out of its nerves and neutrons. When suddenly in the midst of listening to Canon in D, I heard screams.

Somebody was having a huge fight by the road in the middle of the night. It was 1 in the morning. I tried peeking though the window but I only heard the screams but not the people in the fight. I know it was between a man and a woman. Can't comprehend what is being said though. Only heard bits and pieces. The man was shouting loudly but too quick for my ear to catch the words.

My sister (who was upstairs) heard some bits and pieces too. From the upstairs verandah, she saw that there was another man on a motorcycle so she assumed that the man and woman fighting is either husband/wife or bf/gf and the one on the motorcycle is the third wheel (haha!). There was one sentence that she heard clearly:

Man: Kalau kau tidak sayang saya sudah, kau kestau bah! P*ki*a punya perempuan! Tiada guna!

And later he shouted, "Pulanglah! Pulanglah!"

He was really shouting his head off~! Not pleasant to the ears though huhu

The woman was crying so I don't have any idea what she said. She shouted from the top of her lungs though.
About 15 minutes after I first heard them shouting, I had gone back to my laptop (no time for drama, gotta finish the proposal!) and I saw bright blue lights from the window. So the busybody in me peeked outside and saw a police patrol car. I had no guts to peek any longer so I just went on with my business. Screams were no longer heard.

Maybe my neighbours called the police. Cannot tahan the shouting any longer.

This is where they had their fight. Beside the main road, where cars were zooming by. The pink one is my house hehehe They were having that fight very close to the houses. Even cars slowed down to look at them.

Moral of the story? Don't cheat on your loved one! ... thanks for the latenight entertainment, whoever they might be. Got me snapped out of my sleepiness hohoho but being the procrastinator that I am, my proposal is not done~!!! GAH~!!!!!    

Tang Yuen me likey~!

Tang Yuen... Glutinous rice ball. Yum yum...

Tang Yuen is sold in supermarkets (frozen ones, you only have to boil them) but it's so easy to make, you can have it ready to eat in 30 minutes.

Last 2 weeks when I was at kampung, my cousin taught me how to make them. Even kids can do it, the last time I made it, my niece Angie was around and she helped to make the fillings.

You only have to have glutinous rice flour, sugar, water, crushed peanuts (or chocolate, tausa, whatever filling you want), ginger, gula melaka and colouring (if you want).

Mix flour, sugar and water together until you get a dough. If you want to colour the dough, now is the right time to do it.

Then you insert the peanuts...

Make the balls small. They will swell when you boil it later.

After that, boil water and insert the gula melaka and ginger. After a while, put the balls inside. Wait for it to swell (about 5 minutes or less), then it's done~!

The remnants... hoho

I like crushed peanuts but my sister likes the chocolate fillings huhu

I recently made choc fillings huhu yummy (just scrape the chocolates we eat and put it inside)

It's so easy to make, I like~!!!!!

But... I kentut dunno how many times after eating this thing hehehe blame the ginger~! But this dish is good la... easy and sedap~!
