Karnival Sukan (tough luck, lol)

This week is the sports carnival here in my college.
I participated in the badminton, netball and tennis matches(I think tennis entry is closed oredy huhuhu tough luck)
In netball, we didn't even reach the quarters because we lost to the PJ juniors huhuhuhu like I said earlier, tough luck. Zaman kegemilangan is officially over. "Kita belajar jak la" - Dudu
Last night was the conclusion of the badminton matches. *sigh* the management is so... cincai. Time, place and matches were not done smoothly. The ones we've managed in Keningau is 100 times fold better.
Anyway, (FunFun and I) -- (Dudu and Epa) formed doubles teams and we managed to get to the semifinals but we didn't get to see eachother in the finals. FunFun and I was playing in the finals at 10.30 pm last night against a club player(Sabah Jr Champion, I think) and a reasonable player. I was so nervous, I pity FunFun because she had to endure with me huhuhu -_-

Needless to say, we lost straight sets. I don't like the fact that even in the finals, the management didn't let us play all-out to 21 points. Instead, they only make us play up to 9 points. Sheesh... I was not puas enough la... 9 points... it's only warm-up... I wanted to play with the club player more...huhuhu It's good to play against a far better player, kan?

Sadly, I didn't have pictures for last night's tournament... (Sepa la ingat mo bw camera lg kalo mo bertanding... len kali sa ingat la kali huhu) : )

I'm very tempted to say...

Some biscuits prepared with a kiss and dynamites!

We had 3 hours of night class a few weeks ago... I hate night classes. I personally think evening time is for me to indulge in something I take pleasure in... definitely not for classes!

Mdm LSY arrived early and she asked us if we've had our dinner yet and ofcourse we said no(really!) and she gave us some biscuits and sweets to fill our stomach... hihihi I thought this was nice. She was thinking of us, through and through. She even offered to go to the nearest bakery to buy some buns for us... in which we declined because I don't think we should take advantage of her benevolence. Giving us biscuits was more than enough.

I call these the kind biscuits! hahaha

KISS ME, it'll give you 1 hell of a DYNAMITE!

Dudu even brought her Kit Kat, me likey...

Epa has dynamite cheeks~!!!

I hope I can become as thoughtful as Mdm. LSY when I actually become a teacher huhu

Takoyaki~!!!

mmm...
Takoyaki is so yummy~!!!
Usually there's a long long line of people waiting tu buy this stuff but we were lucky enough that day ohohoho the line was short yet we have to wait about 20 minutes for the takoyaki to get cooked.

the end product.
If you happen to go to Wisma Merdeka, you have got to try this!
Takoyaki (たこ焼き or 蛸焼) (literally fried or baked octopus) is a popular Japanese dumpling made of batter, diced or whole baby octopus, tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger, and green onion, topped with okonomiyaki sauce, green laver (aonori), mayonnaise, and kkatsuobushi (fish shavings), originating from Osaka. ---Wikipedia
The description alone is enough to make me drool.

One of the takoyaki partially bitten by yours truly. : )

hoorah~!!!

Just a quick update...

Now that I'm back in campus, I'm being drowned in tons of work. not to mention the roof-hitting things we have to read. sheesh...

I passed the calculus exam! yeay~! Hope everything will turn up fine with the others!

It's 'V' for victory to Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open! I'm so glad he won. It was a tremendous effort on Federer's side to win against Nadal. Both of them are great players but ofcourse I'm on nadal's side hehe!

Nadal with his trophy

Federer was emotional when the fans started to cheer for him... it was very sad to watch this. Federer is a very nice person not to mention a great tennis player!

I promise this will be the end of my tennis-obsession post... for now! haha

Will talk about something else next time ohoho

God bless.

Nadal~!!!

I was scared for nadal last night... pheww what a tight semifinal against fellow countrymen, Fernando Veredasco! 5 sets, 5 hours of play huhuhu what a great match!

Fernando Verdasco... shot some amazing shots.

Can you believe this? He's only 1 year older than me! 23 years old and he's the no.1 player in the world! He's already a winner of many grand slams and not to forget that gold medal he got from the Beijing Olympics.

He just sank to the floor when Verdasco hit a double fault that gave him the winning point. Exhausted and happy I guess! They played for over 5 hours!

Final is between Nadal and Federer. I just know it's gonna be another great match! Whoever wins truly deserve it! I'm rooting for Nadal though! hahaha

SerenaWomen's singles finals is between Serena Williams and Dinara Safina. I've been watching Safina play and she's really persistent and tough! much like Serena. I wonder who will win??

Dinara Safina

It was really hot in Australia this time of the year. Many players was seen with packs of ice! They even had to close the roof for matches because it was too hot huhu

Huuuu... the CNY break is almost over! I've to go back to IPG oredy... hope things will be looking up onwards... hukhuk

tsk tsk needles

My dad had a minor stroke in August this year and after that he experienced pains in his arm... my dad used to drive alot but after that, he couldn't drive because of his arm pains. We went to lots of places to cure his arm (massages, doctors, etc). Last week, we went to an acupuncture place in KK. The doctor and his wife was from mainland China and doesn't speak English let alone Malay so we had to get help from people hihihihi

Anyway, daddy said the needles hurt a little bit huhuhu I'm sure I can't stand it urgh I hate needles... it's just sooooo scary. needles scare me! okay back to my point of telling this story... now my dad can drive! His arm is all fixed! I can't believe it but yeah, instead of me taking him to the acupuncture place, he drove himself there this morning! Woah...

Till the next post... muaaaaaaaaaahhh~!

Birthday cakes, balloons, buffet and whatnot (*winkwink*)

Last saturday, my siblings arranged for our mummy and nephew, Anderson (or Aten we call him---called him that because his sister Angie cant say his name properly. she ended calling him Aten' huhuhu). The rest, as they say it, is history.

Neway, my mummy's and Aten's birthday falls on the same day (October 7th) so we decided to celebrate the both of them together with the rest of our extended family.

The party went on okay and whats fun is that we gambled (kua' merah ah ohohoho)there! It's sort of our tradition that the guys will be drinking and the ladies will gamble their way to the wee hours huhuhuhu But I think it's the first time that we did it in a restaurant. I quote my dear Uncle Donald, "We should take the names of these people! For years i've worked in hotels, I've never seen anyone gambled in restaurants/hotels!" He meant that we've made history lah hahahahaha

Something amiss kan tu sign... huhuhu
